Controlling the Slice
1 - Before the Swing-at Address
The arrows beside the 'Shot' ball allow you to influence the ball's flight. By clicking on the LEFT arrow, your shot will tend to fly in that direction. Click once or twice, depending on the severity of the slice you expect.
Pay attention, also, to the wind. If it is blowing strongly, to either the left or the right, then it will effect the ball's flight.
Decrease the wind's influence by lowering the ball's trajectory, in real golf and when you play golf game online. Keep your ball's flight lower by clicking on the arrow BELOW the 'Shot' ball.
2 - During the Swing
GoldenFairwayFX golf uses the traditional 3-Click Swing.
To keep your 'Full Power' shots on target, your second and third mouse clicks must be exactly when the red part of the disc reaches 6 and 12 o'clock, respectively. Otherwise you will tend to produce a slice.
Note: You must always take a Full Power shot when your club is a wood or an iron number 3 through 9.
When using your wedges or putter you can vary the power of your shot. With these clubs, accuracy is all about getting click number 3 at exactly 12 o'clock.
Click Number 2 Adjustments
If your second mouse click misses the 6 o'clock mark by a small amount, you still have a chance to compensate and make a reasonably straight shot, when you play this golf game online.
Early Click Number 2
A slightly early number 2 click is between about 5 and 6 o'clock. Try to save it with an equally early click number 3.
Late Click Number 2
Salvaging a late second click is a bit trickier.
For your number 2 click that is between 6 and 7 o'clock, making click number 3 a little bit later will sometimes give you a more on-target shot.
The closer your second click is to 6 o'clock, the closer number 3 should be on the late side of 12 o'clock.
