All free online Tycoon games naturally have a bit in common with each other. They are categorized as Strategy-type Empire Building games at FilePlanet websites.
As a player, you start out with a bunch of land, a load of capital, and some small amount of virtual guests or Peeps.
On that land, you build and maintain your business so that it attracts and pleases your peeps.
When the peeps are satisfied, they generate additional capital for you. So you grow your business and attract more and more peeps.
In the School Tycoon game, you start by putting up a classroom and getting a teacher.
The peeps are students and they then start coming to your classrooms.They need bathrooms, a health office and recreation.
So you put up and maintain new buildings, and keep tabs on how happy your peeps are.
Like in real life, this is a complicated undertaking. Besides that, you are also in an area prone to tornadoes.
The Zoo Tycoon game trial version is a fun one. You get to play in what's called their Free Form mode.
Out of the full game's 30 different animals, you get to 'adopt' four of them: male and female tigers, gazelles, camels and peafowl(I always thought were peacocks).In this free online Tycoon game you build pens and then keep the peeps and the animals happy.
You have amenities, other buildings and landscaping to satisfy the peeps.
Be careful how many critters you adopt because you'll be hounded when they become thirsty, hungry and dirty.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 v1.2 - 163 MB
The demo for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is a very popular download, among free online Tycoon games.
Here you build a fabulous park, attend to the details of maintenance and cleaning, and see that your happy peeps have the times of their lives.The above free online Tycoon games are the 3 that I have tested for you. They download, install and play without a hitch.Be sure to supply enough money machines, food places and bathrooms. See your hard work pay off when crowds line up for the rides that you make.
Then watch those peeps coming off the rides: some pumping their arms with delight, and some looking like they are going to be sick.
In the Full version game, you make rides of different intensity to suit the different tastes of the individual peeps.
You'll see why real theme parks have so many employees when you find out how many people you have to hire in this roller coaster game.
