Golf? is one more variation of the numerous computer golf games. As a matter of fact, among free downloadable Internet games, Golf? could probably be in a class by itself.
You do have normal game mechanics, golf ball physics and scoring. But beyond that, things are pretty weird.
There is the dark, other-worldly setting where your brightly colored mech golfer plays.
Your caddie looks mechanical, too, and he's always guzzling some kind of drink. (We even spotted one caddie who looks just like Franklin Delano Roosevelt).
Even though it is dark in this game, your golf ball leaves a persistant, easy to follow, luminous trail. Follow it by foot or hop into your line-drawing golf cart.
You swing your golf club with mouse motion control, which is kind of cool. Get it right to avoid the dreaded hook or
slice.
