Free Golf Game Demos
Some great golf games for you to try out. Check out the look and feel, similarities and differences.
1 - This is a whole free online golf game: Golden Fairway multiplayer golf But alas, things are changing at GoldenFairwayFX. Used to be a completely free download and unlimited free play. Now, it looks like you get either a free week trial or a free year. We are testing now, and will keep you posted right here.
Anyway, it is a high quality 3-Dimensional online golf game. Of our free demo games, this is(was?) the best.
No credit card needed. Just go online, fill in the boxes, and play and enjoy. Optional advanced competition features, like the real world game.
It's a quick 80 MB download on cable or dsl. On dial-up, let it download while you sleep at night and it will be there for you in the morning.
2 - Check this one out. If you like realistic golf, and you like Role Playing Games, and you like nice long free demo games, then you might really like
Shot - Online computer golf game.
On the other hand, if you don't know an RPG from LSMFT, then you still might get a kick out of all the interpersonal stuff that expands this fine online golf sim.
3 - Here's a nice free demo game... play three virtual holes at Bethpage Golf on the Black Course with
Tiger Woods 2004
free demo game from EA Sports. You get holes 16 - 18, in a 99MB download with 190 MB installed. Play this golf game demo, off-line.
4 - Then there is Links Course Challenge - Chateau Whistler , the free demo game from Microsoft. You get to play 18 holes as Sergio Garcia. The graphics and controls on this 13MB download look awesome.
5 - This free demo game is an oldy-but-a-goody.. Jack Nicklaus 6: Golden Bear Challenge. From GameZone, it is a 15 MB download, made in 2001. It works fine, playing off-line, on my computer.
You get to golf three holes, numbers 1 -3, on the Cochise Course at Desert Mountain.
6- Infiniteegolf offers a free demo game. Technically, maybe a step or two down from the other golf games here. It has keyboard controls and costs $13 for the full game.
7- Golden Tee, the tremendously popular arcade game, has a free demo available. We are crushed that we haven't been able to test it yet(probably because it is not made for Windows XP).
They say it works with Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000 operating systems. We had no trouble with the download and they provide 5 download mirrors worldwide.

A very friendly place, too.
You get an avatar, a full virtual person. Pick your size, hair, clothes, skin tone.
You can walk, talk, run, ride vehicles, race, play cards, jump, dance...
The currency is Therebucks. There is even a Bank of There. You can make stuff, buy stuff, sell your stuff.
It is really more than what we mean by free demo games. It has a pretty big download, but they will send you a free install CD.
