Once upon a time there was a pretty cool online game promoting a blockbuster movie. So we wrote about it. It's old info, now. The stuff at the top of this page is good, though. The legacy text and graphics are below.
It used to be that on this page we set you up with a good Internet game that was promoting the summer blockbuster movie, Fantastic Four. But... as of December 26, 2006, they are in the early stages of promoting a new Fantastic Four movie. It is scheduled for a summer of 2007 release.
The links on this page have been set to go to the new website, and if a new promotional game is offered I will get the goods for you.
So otherwise this page is about one of those cool free games online that came and went.
As far as cool free games online go, this one is pretty good. You get a game to play online that works good, looks good and gives you a good amount of enjoyment and challenge.
We're calling it one of those good Internet games... Not the best but still pretty good.
There are 2 game modes:
- Training Match - Practice by sparring with other players.
- Battle Royal - Team up to fight Dr. Doom, then continue to spar after he is defeated.
Start the Fantastic Four Online Game
Log in and choose an empty room or a game room with people waiting to play. The first person in the game room starts the play.
You are not able to get into game rooms that are full or with play in progress. Also, some of the empty game rooms won't let you in, so try another on any of the four floors.
If no one else is in the game room then you can play the computer. Otherwise, enter and wait for the first person in to start up the game.
Chat is available in the upper right box.
Next, choose your fighter. If you are with other players, choose in the order of arrival in the game room.
Play the Game
Like with most other cool free games online, your goal is to reduce your opponents' health to zero.
Now, to get 'er done, pick 3 actions that will execute after all game players have chosen theirs.
The four actions you can take are:
- Attack - Each game player can perform 3 types of attack - Run your mouse over the arrows to see your attack radius of each attack type.
- Block - If successful, this deflects 20 points of an incoming attack's damage.
- Energize - Needed for attacking.
- Move - To another space in the game room to try to avoid being hit by an attack.
