So, on this page I'm showing you games that catch my eye and that I otherwise feel might interest you all.
This will be a continuosly growing list of hot computer games that you can play, or at least try, for free. When I find Internet games that work good and are fun, I'll hook you up.
On this page you'll see links to the games and just a few words about them.
There will also be links to separate pages that give you a bit of additional information about each of these hot internet games.
My aim is to get you some select computer games that are new, unique or just plain fun.
Some of these games will be associated with popular products or current events. Some will be promoting things like movies.
If I think that a game is worth the effort it takes to acquire it, then I will get it up here for you.
November 22, 2007 - There's a hot new entry in the 3-D online golf games arena called Ultimate Tour Golf from Skillground Games.

UTour Golf is another highly realistic computer golf game where the more you know about the real game of golf the more fun you can have. On the other hand, if you don't know much about golf, then you are going to learn a lot about it by playing this UTour game.
From the Tee to the Cup you come up against just about all the variables that make golf such a challenging and fun game.
Like Goldenfairway Golf, about which I have written quite a bit, UTour is a 3-D style golf simulation game that you can play for cash prizes or play just for fun.
One of UTour's strengths is its skill rating system. No matter what your skill level is you can easily identify other players who you can match up well against. The people at Skillground Games have lots of experience at making sure that their online games have excellent security as well as making sure that players can get into fair competitions.
Ultimate Tour Golf runs on Windows and requires a broadband connection. They say it runs on both the Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, but I've been getting best results playing on Internet Explorer.
There is a very good tutorial that quickly gets you up and virtual golfing. You can play UTour's free online golf for as long as you want. Get their Premium Account/Player's Club account at any time by filling out the form and making a deposit.
Modes of play for UTour Golf include One vs. One, Stroke Play, Match Play, Stableford Plus, Quick Play, Tournaments and Practice.

June 15 2007 - Here is a pretty hot game based on a cool summer sport.
Called Virtual Skipper, it's the 4th version of what looks like a fairly popular sailboating game. I never heard of it before, but now that I've tried it, I kind of like it.
It's an addictive game, with nice scenery.The demo for this sailing game is kind of large at 220 MB. As I say though, it is a good looking, fun and popular game.

December 3 2005 - The many Tycoon games and other Empire-Building-type Strategy games are really popular.... they have been hot games for years.
I tried out the following 3 free Tycoon game demos:
- School Tycoon Game
- Zoo Tycoon Game
- Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Game
What I found is that they work fine, they are lots of fun, and these games are challenging.

November 18, 2005 - Here's another one of those hot Internet games for you. Enjoy it. Please. Because it is cold here and the snow is a foot deep.
Anyway... I'll get over it....in five or six months.

Don't you just love how games keep getting better and better?
Internet car racing games are no exception. Take TrackMania's Sunrise Extreme free demo which gives you:
- Fabulous graphics
- So-real physics
- Global venue
- Four Solo modes
- Online multiplayer mode
It's a chunk of a download at 315 MB, and it takes a good minute to load every time you play. But I think it's worth it. This online game is cool and free and fun.

October 19,2005 - The Serious Sam 2 free demo game
gives you a pretty good look at a leading edge first person shooter (FPS).
I find it to be good quality, fun and challenging. It is also nice and quick. Meaning, once you have it installed it only takes about 15 seconds to load and start playing.

August 8, 2005 - Take a look at this free computer golf game that you can play online or off.
As usual, I have tested this game, Golf?, and can tell you that it works good, it's a quick 22MB download and it is based on real golf.

August 1, 2005 {December 26, 2006 Update - A new Fantastic Four movie is in the works. The title is, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and it is scheduled for a Summer 2007 release. There is no word of any cool free games online that are promoting this movie. Not yet anyway.}- Part of the Fantastic Four blockbuster movie marketing blitz is the Fantastic Four free multiplayer online game.

July 23, 2005 - Here is a hot Internet game.. The Battlefield 2 demo has been downloaded millions of times.
They give you a really good demo that you can play solo or join a squad online. Pick which side you want to be on and then jump into the battle.
